CHAMPs Assembly Winners

Every Friday White Oak Primary has a CHAMPS assembly to recognize students around that campus that are doing the right thing and/or working hard in academics.

CHAMPs is a positive approach to behavior and classroom management that maximizes learning time and provides a safe and healthy school environment. It is a positive approach that uses constructive, encouraging, and affirmative interactions between teachers, students, and administrators. CHAMPs is a program to create consistent expectations, respectful interactions with others, fair and appropriate responses to misbehavior, and motivation for students to do their best.

CHAMPs is practiced daily and is constantly beingĀ  reminded to our students throughout the day.

Anyone can spot the students doing the right thing and “beingĀ  a CHAMP” in the hallway, cafeteria, bus, classroom, car pick up line, or with a friend. It is important that each students knows to always be a CHAMP even if no one is around.

This is a great way to reward the students that are outstanding in and out of the classroom!

Our first CHAMPs Assembly was last Friday, January 17, 2014.

Winners were:
