Book Orders and Graded Papers Coming Your Way!

The kiddos have begged for another book order so I am sending one home today and the order will be due back on Monday. I know it’s not long, but I want to place the orders before the break.

Also, a lot of graded papers will be coming home today. Please look over this work and talk with your child with praise or further explanation. Thank you so much!!

Don’t forget Monday at 11:30 is our Reader’s Theater!

Upcoming Holiday Fun!!

Thursday (tomorrow) we will be having our traditional 1st Grade Thanksgiving Feast by candlelight! We ask that no parents eat with their parents this day. We want to all be together as a class-family and have a great feast!

Thank you

Also, keep working on your your kiddos parts for our upcoming Reader’s Theater! It’ll be Monday at 11:30! Hopefully you all can make it, because THEY ARE CUTE!! After their reader’s theater parents will be able to check their kids out for the day!

There will be early release on Tuesday at 11:00 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Please make arrangements for your child, and if there is a change send a note in the planner!

We have been working hard in all subjects and I have been Benchmark Testing along with the rest of our first grade teachers!

Keep practicing and reading every night! I hope to see you Monday!

Thanks,

Lacey James

Guided Reading: Students will be tested on the next reading benchmark this week and next week. Continue to read each and every night. Also, check for the Reader’s Theater note! Each student has a part! Practice, practice, practice!! Please read the attached note and practice with your child at home. We will present our performance to the parents on Monday, November 23.

Have a great week,

Ms. James
